I usually have at least one creative writing project or another on the go (I'm currently making frustrated attempts at a screenplay), and have had occasional success in getting the results of them published. My debut poetry collection ‘Other Troubled Creatures’ was published by Bare Fiction Press in summer 2016, after I came runner up in Bare Fiction's debut poetry collection competition in 2015. I’ve been long and shortlisted in a few other national writing competitions, have performed at various poetry and spoken word nights in London, and been commissioned to write poems on subjects ranging from body image to Brexit, for the likes of Marie Claire magazine and the BBC World Service.
